Changing the way we look at charity through decentralization.

Tax breaks do not incentivize the masses to donate but rather the select few. Charito saw this problem and the solution is simple thanks to web3. Instead of a tax break being the incentive to donate, an NFT artwork can be the incentive. Access to the community turns NFT investors to philanthropists as we find ways to operate charitable endeavors in more efficient ways than current charities. Our first NFT project provides drinking water to underprivileged communities through donating to charitywater.org (50% of mint proceeds), and the rest will go to our Take Action Fund, used as our own charitable vehicle and eventually functioning in a way charities can only dream of. Eventually, Charito has multiple collections forcing real world change for every walk of life.

Purpose

Mission 1

The Water Crisis

Charito makes change where it is needed most. According to lifewater.org, 771 million people globally lack access to drinkable water and basic sanitation. 1 in 10 people are affected by the water crisis and this brings a projected 40 billion hours a year of searching for drinkable water. Every two minutes a child under 5 dies due to this.

Eliminating the need for mothers and children to have to pursue drinkable water in their day is top priority (Mission 1). Decoding the water crisis for these impoverished communities hopes to empower education - detracting from poverty and disease.

Water Droplets

While scouring for the best spring water in the world, Keyser Soze discovered the Droplets. To protect their environment, their location remains classified. At first, the droplets were threatened by Keyser's presence. But through continued efforts Keyser built a strong relationship with them and wishes to assist in their efforts. Mother nature has made the droplets to decentralize the world's water supply so we found a way to help. Through our "Bottling" process, the droplets are not as fragile as they once were. Now the Droplets are just as capable as humans, perhaps more capable in their ability to move across the blockchain. Able to be anywhere in the blink of an eye.

Charity:Water

After vetting charities, we have stumbled upon only one we feel as the best place to direct our funds. Charitywater.org was created by Scott Harrison, their mission is to solve the water crisis. They are backed by private donors who fund the business side so 100% of your money goes to the initiative itself- funding water projects in third world countries. Decisive in their work, Charity:Water evaluates every community to determine which system works best for the area. To date, well over 100k water projects have been funded, helping over 15 million people globally. Since they accept crypto, more of your money goes towards the cause.

Take Action Fund

The vehicle that will drive our own charitable endeavors.

With the communities help we will find efficient ways to combat crisis on the world stage. Not only do we aim to combat global issues such as water scarcity, hunger, marine deterioration, children's education. We aim to empower the individual through things such as mini-game tournaments where winners get money sent to their local food bank.

Through community efforts, the Take Action Fund aims to be the web3 way of running a charity. Strictly voted on by our community holders.

Half&Half

  • Take Action (50%) – charitable events, upgrades to the ecosystem and more all voted on by the community.

  • Immediate Action (50%) – investment vehicle voted on by the community. Will be used to fund causes that require immediate action.

Keyser Söze (Originator)

Entrepreneurial drive with an understanding of the world economy and the numbers that drive it. I have a large focus on cryptocurrency and look to bring some of my philanthropic ideas to life through decentralized finance.
The cryptocurrency space is rapidly growing and many areas seem to be raking in cash only to find they have no purpose in growing. My goal is to direct some of that excess to good causes worldwide and incentivize the crypto space to be more charitable. True decentralization is only achieved when opportunity is available globally.
